Running Long Leads Using The Pin Popper

When using the Legendary Products PIN POPPER for running long leads behind your diver, first make these simple changes.

	Figure 1 (Left) Add a Barrel swivel 6 to 9ft. ahead of your lure. This stops the diver from sliding down against your fish and allows the proper distance for netting. Note that the original release arm for the diver will remain set.
Figure 2 (Top Right) When Placing the pin into the popper turn pin at least two full turns; this will prevent the diver from creeping towards the lure prematurely. The pressure required by the pin to hold the diver will depend on boat speed and fishermans personal desire. After using a few times pressure in placing the pin will come natural.

When a strike occurs and Pin Popper releases, the diver will slide down the line to a barrel swivel that you have located on your line.

Remember to allow the correct distance when tying the barrel swivel to your lure ( to allow for netting ) when the barrel swivel is at the rod tip.
